Name:
Anousheh Ansari was the first female muslim in outer space and, to me, this piece has 3 distinct elements radiating from it.  The artwork has a bit of a cosmic  aesthetic while leaning a bit more toward the feminine side.  These factors, along with many borrowed shapes from traditional eastern architecture, made Ansari the perfect name
. Working with the blue stains is a new development in the process for me and seems to fit really well.  You can decide if you'd like the blue or the natural.  While I believe blue is looks killer on her, it may depend on where you intend to hang the artwork.  Thanks for reading.

Jane ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I have been looking for a geometric art piece for over a year. Finally found it with this wonderful art work by Philip Roberts. The work is phenomenal!

Rick  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Incredible dimensions and feel, very easy to get mesmerized, just what art should do.

Joseph  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The intricacy and patience inherent in the artist's work silences whatever commotion there maybe "out there." It brings order to chaos.

Every piece is made in my little shop here in Southern NJ. Each piece is constructed from various plywoods, which means that each one turns out slightly different depending on the grain and how the wood accepts the stain. Most commonly Mahogany, Red Oak, and White Birch. The different layers are sometimes stained different colors in order to bring out the design's depth. It also adds more aesthetic texture to an already lively appearance. Note, the appearance will change throughout the day depending on the light.
